Acapulco

Copper Canyon

A massive range of gorges running through the Sierra Madre Mountains, the Copper Canyon exhibits Mexico’s natural heritage. The Copper Canyon is 25,000 square miles in area and resides in the lap of a state called Chihuahua.

The grandeur of the Canyon can be appropriately explored by a train journey from Chihuahua to Mochias. The astonishing terrain of the land transforms the place to a spiritual level and it has become a ‘haven for adventurers’ too.

Cozumel

Cozumel is a spectacular island of Mexico studded with rich flora and fauna. The scuba diving and snorkeling activities are very popular in this part of the country.

Enjoyed your photo essay on Mexico. Especially of interest was the train crossing over a canyon. One usually doesn't think of train travel exploring Mexico. That looks like it could be a great way to see Mexico and get some unusual photos. Thanks for sharing. GClark

Lovely hub. Very well done. For me though, when I went to Mexico, I wanted to go where no tourist has gone before. The State of Sonora was my choice. I also chose to speak no English, though my Spanish was rudimentary. As luck would have it, my picks turned out to be good ones. The Mexican people treated me like family. Everywhere I went I received discounts and favors. Even the street gangs left me alone.

Someday I still wish to visit Cancun and Acapulco, but I would like to have enough money so that I could take some people from Agua Prieta, Sonora with me.
